GOD IS DOING A NEW THING

Pastor Bernie Tauaanae shared a message on letting go of the old and running forward to the NEW thing that God has in store! Sharing from the scripture Isaiah 43:18- 19 he said,” God is doing a NEW thing! Sometimes we hear older people say, “Oh it was better back in the good-old-days.” Sometimes we can dwell in the former things and what happened before that we fail to expect and believe God for greater! But I believe the Lord is saying to us tonight that “I AM doing a NEW THING”. Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV -Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Pastor Bernie explained how dwelling on the past, on things that happened, wrongs done to us, things that used to be and old ways of thinking can keep us stuck in the past, or stuck in an old season when God is calling us forward to run our race. He said, “God is the One who formed and molded us. He is the only One who could perceive and know our hearts and intent. Many times, we end up making excuses to suit our circumstances, to sit in the comfort of familiarity. We keep changing our decisions and our mind depending on our mood and how we are feeling. But that should not be, that is unbiblical – yet many times we do that with our relationship with God.” “See, I’ve been with my wife for 23 years, and even after all that time, there are moments when I still don’t understand her. What I am saying is that only God can know each of us so intimately, know our hearts and ultimately know what’s best for us and our future. I may not know what’s in your heart, but your Father God knows exactly what’s in your heart and what’s in store for you!” Pastor Bernie explained that God has a clear vision for each of our lives, “He has a great purpose and plans for us – but in order to step into that we need to set our heart on Him and throw off anything that could weigh us down and drag us back.” Hebrews 12:1 NIV -Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. “Our feelings can change depending on our mood or circumstance, one day we decide such and such and the next day we change the plan. If we do something and it doesn’t work out, we tend to doubt God and if we do something that does work out, we take the credit for it! At the end of the day, being grounded in the Word of God and surrendering to God will set us free. Free from the past, from expectations of others, from our burdens.” “There are some people who are carrying guilt from sexual sin other types of sin from their past, they hold it inside and feel awful and can’t even carry on and move forward with their lives, living in fear of past experiences. When you live in the past, you will stay stuck there. You may move forward a few steps but you will always end up taking steps backward.” “If that is you, I want you to know that Jesus died on the Cross and rose again for your sin. He did it for you so that YOU could be free and not held back in fear or condemnation. Don’t allow your past experiences to prevent you from experiencing the LOVE of CHRIST!”“Get ready because God is doing a NEW THING!” To watch this complete message, check out the replay here: https://www.facebook.com/supernaturalfellowship/videos/801706870631308

DRY BONES COME ALIVE

Mama Mindy Wiese shared on the story of Ezekiel prophesying to the dry bones to come to life in the book of Ezekiel, chapter 37.

Speaking on the rattling of the dry bones, she said, “ In Ezekiel 37:4 we see that there is a sound of the rattling of the dry bones. God is releasing a new sound! Though the Bible speaks about many sounds, here it talks about the sound of the trumpet and the sound of the rattling of these dry bones as they come to life!”

Ezekiel 37:1-9– [1 The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley, and it was full of bones. 2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley, and indeed they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”
4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.”

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.
9 Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army. ]

Mindy explained, “This is a mighty army that God raised up. From the dry bones that were rattling, He didn’t take one dry bone from one body and another dry bone from another body and put them together, no He put together the dry bones that belonged to the same body.”

“That is kind of gross, like a scary movie. But through this God was (and is) saying that there is something dead that He is bringing back to life. God continues to do this, even today.”

“When Jesus died on a Friday, there was some rattling in the tomb. Those dry bones rattled as God breathed life. Here we have a parallel both in the Old and New Testament.”

“One day there will be another set of dry bones that will be rattling and come to life. The Bible says that the dead in Christ will rise again at the sound of the trumpet.”

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 [ For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.]

“All the Prophet Ezekiel did was prophesy – speak to those things which were dead for them to come alive and be restored. I’m telling you that tonight there are some dry bones, in this room, there are some dry things that need to come together that need to be restored.

Tonight, I want to tell you that there are some dry bones that need restoration. And you ask what? Firstly, do YOU know HIM as Savior? Are you going to go to Heaven or are you going to go to Hell?”

“There’s no -‘But I was good! But my grandparents went to church and I went with them, But I know about God!’ Do YOU know Him? When that trumpet sounds, that is what is going to matter. What God is saying is that HE wants to raise up the dry bones in this room because this is an army of God. This is a generation! And each one of you is part of the army of God.”

“God is speaking to the dry bones tonight. He is calling the prodigal’s home. He wants to speak to those things that you have let die.”

“Does that mean you’re a bad person? No, you knew him once but maybe something has pulled you away. Sometimes it’s the trap that the enemy has set or maybe its money, guilt and shame or sin. But you are the generation that will make a difference in this nation.”

“You have been given authority for your nation, and to the other nations that He is talking to. I want you to know that today, God is speaking prophetically. The rattling of the dry bones coming alive is the sound of salvation!”

Romans 6:23 – [23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.]

GOD’S APPOINTED TIME – SUKKOT

With the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) just around the corner, preparing our hearts to meet with God during this appointed time was the focus of the Wednesday Spontaneous Night.

After a session engaging in the Feast of Tabernacles Webinar hosted by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, some of the members of last years’ Samoan Delegates For Israel team – shared about the amazing breakthroughs and miracles that took place as they prepared to attend the Feast last October and during their entire trip to the Holy Land. They also greatly encouraged ALL to register and be a part of this year’s ICEJ Virtual Feast of Tabernacles celebrations in Jerusalem. Christians from around the world will join in to represent their respective nations, commemorate and celebrate this Feast unto the Lord – including the nation of Samoa!

The Biblical Feast of Tabernacles celebrates God’s provision and protection for the people of Israel during their 40 years wandering in the wilderness; for the seven days of the feast, people live in temporary structures as they did in the wilderness. The Lord himself was with the Israelites in the desert, in a tented temple called the tabernacle, so the feast also celebrates His presence as He tabernacles (dwells) with us.

This feast also points to the promise that God will return and rally with His people — in the person of Jesus.

Leviticus 23: 40-43 NIV – “On the first day you are to take branches from luxuriant trees—from palms, willows and other leafy trees—and rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days. Celebrate this as a festival to the Lord for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in the seventh month. Live in temporary shelters for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in such shelters so your descendants will know that I had the Israelites live in temporary shelters when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.’”

Sharing about her first Feast experience, Marjourie Meredith revealed that there was a price to pay to say YES to the Lord and be a part of last years’ Feast.

She explained, “Last year I was one of the very last people who said YES and joined the Delegation, with only 3-4 weeks left till departure from Samoa. Apostle Cruise and Pastor Rissa sat me down and let me know that they really felt that I was called to join this trip. Within a split second of them sharing that, my mind was made up and I instantly said YES!
My mum has always wanted to go to Israel, and as she prayed, she said, “I have this feeling that there is an open portal, an open channel straight over Jerusalem.”
It really resonated with me. At that time, there were so many plans that I was on the verge of releasing. I wanted to launch deeper into business and personal goals. When I said YES to God to attend the Feast, it was a HARD YES. I didn’t even have $100 tala in my bank account. But the weeks leading up to our departure, God’s faithfulness was amazing!
After the trip, I left the plane with nothing in my pocket. I didn’t even have the means to pay for my Feast Registration whilst in Israel, and I joked with the sisters that this had to be the ‘most broke’ I’d ever been in my life. But the day we landed back home, I felt different.

Right as the pilot turned off the engines of the plane, I felt God say that I was going to be victorious. Saying YES sure is going to be rough and have its challenges, but there is guaranteed victory!

A year later, I have launched a second business. And I firmly believe that it is because I said YES to the Lord last year. The business I had planned to launch last October, I put on hold, I sacrificed it and I went to Israel.

Today, I am 3 months into the start of my jewelry line, and every 3 days my stock runs out. No matter how much I bring in and expand, it all runs out. I can testify and tell you boldly that there is victory!

If God is calling you to join this Virtual Feast, I believe that it is a blessing because now you can share it with your family. If you are in need of whatever kind of breakthrough, I am telling you this is one of the best prophetic acts of 2020 that you can take part in and do for yourself and your family!”

Sharing his experience leading up to his first of two trips to the Holy Land for the Feast, brother Daniel Ngg Cho said, “I first heard about Israel three years ago. I used to work at the Samoa National Provident Fund, and they had a weekly Bible study.

At this Bible study, the CEO shared her testimony about the breakthrough she received when she went to Israel. Things that would have taken years to bring to pass were all accelerated. She received financial breakthrough as well as breakthrough in her family and with her children! After she testified, I felt so stirred in my heart. Also, at the end of her sharing, she revealed that the trip would cost around $10,000 tala! Afterward, she asked who had it in their heart to travel to Israel the following year.
And even though it was my first year working with a 10K bill to foot for this trip, I raised my hand and said YES.

Have you ever had a prayer need that is in line with God’s will, but in your own thinking, you think it would take years to come to pass? When I went to Israel, I went with a prayer for my family’s salvation. I went again last year. But come this year- I am glad to testify that my whole family is saved!

If you have a need or a prayer request in your heart – there is no better place to sow your seed than in the land of God. There are Promises in the Word and we need to act on them to receive them!
I believe that tonight many hearts were stirred, I am encouraging you – Don’t look at your finances, don’t look at your family or your background! But LOOK TO GOD! He will never call you to go somewhere He will not provide for you! He will not lead you to where He will not give you the grace to sustain it!
