THE DOER’S ROCK

Peace Aiono shared a message titled the Doer ROCK- highlighting the difference between those who HEAR the Word of God and those who HEAR and DO the Word.

She explained, “The Bible is filled with examples and testimonies of those who heard the Word of the Lord and acted accordingly. Because they heed to the voice of the Lord, they were saved like Noah and his family or the Samaritan woman who heeded to the word of Jesus and received salvation, becoming an evangelist who shared the gospel throughout her village!”

“How about the Christian killer, Saul, who encountered Jesus mightily on His way to Damascus and was transformed into the Paul of the New Testament! These are just a few of the amazing people who heard the Word of the Lord and ACTED! Consequently, it saved their families, community, and blessed many other people.”

Matthew 7:24-27 [Therefore whoever #hears these sayings of Mine and #does them, I will liken them to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it fell. And great was its fall.]
“While studying this scripture, the question that came to mind was ‘What am I (are we) listening to?

Whose voice are we hearing? Are you listening to the voice of the Lord through His written and spoken word? Or are we listening to our own feelings, emotions and our fleshly desires?”

Google’s definitions state:
Hear (verb) – perceive with the ear the sound made by (someone or something).
Listen (verb) – give one’s attention to a sound

It’s important to remember that there are three different sources that we could be hearing from -1. God, 2. Ourselves, 3. The Enemy.

We should be hearing and listening to the voice of God, speaking His truths and Promises, but also heeding to His corrections! The dangerous one is to listen to the enemy who comes to steal, kill and destroy.”

“Another question that came to mind was, ‘Why do people just hear and not do?’

In many cases, it is because of the fear of man, the fear of Rejection. Being distracted or double-minded. You can be ‘too busy’ with good things but not Godly things. Or being lazy –Laziness is like a car with a flat tyre. It won’t go anywhere.”

“Are these some things that you can identify with, that could be holding us back from doing what the Lord is instructing us to do? It is so dangerous to hear and neglect the DOING of the Word- the doing of the work of the Lord. Those who neglect to do – are likened to a foolish man, build his house on the sand. When the waves, flood, and rain came- it not only falls but the Bible also it states, “great was its fall”. Ua nutipalaina lava… There is no turning back from it.”

“But blessed are those who work THE WORD and the Will of the Father. When we step out to do what He is calling us to do, we get to experience a whole other level of intimacy with our Father. There is a Promise of protection, provision, and restoration!”

“Those who make God their Rock in times of trouble have that deep trust because they know their God. He spoke, they moved, and they saw miraculous things happen.”

“We are living in very difficult times; we are seeing prophecies being fulfilled. Earthquakes, rumors of wars and pestilences, everything that the Bible said would happen is taking place all around us.”

“The society we are living in now practices a corrupting, a twisting of the Word of God. We shouldn’t be moved and swayed by it. When the Measles spread in Samoa- many of those who previously said ‘The Lord is our Healer and Protector’ – started panicking! You can be one who declares God’s provision and declares Him as your Provider – but when you check your bank account and see the 0’s you start to panic!”

“Where is your faith? Where is your foundation?”

“Are you rooted in the Word of God or are you swayed by the ever-changing circumstances and situations around you?”

“I want to ask the question, ‘How is YOUR Foundation?’ Is it built on a ROCK or on the SAND? Make it your priority as a 2020 resolution to REBUILD and/or REINFORCE your Foundation. Go back to the basics. Know who you are in Christ. Know that your identity is something no one else can take it from you!

“THIS YEAR REQUIRES IMMEDIATE OBEDIENCE, HEED TO WHAT THE LORD IS SAYING AND MOVE!”

FINDING PURPOSE

Sanita Ioapo Tuala shared a message focused on the pre-destined purpose that God has planted in each of us.

She said, “Prophetic words in our lives can be defined as a ‘calling forth’ of the potential in us. When God prophesied into your life, He said ‘I have a plan and a purpose in your life’. God’s purpose for your life is to prosper you. When we talk about prosperity, it’s not limited to money. You will prosper in your soul, in your mind, in your spirit- that is the package of God,”

JEREMIAH 29:11 – [For I know the plans I have for you.’ Declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.]

“Jeremiah 29:11 has got to be one of the greatest prophetic words in the Bible and it is my favorite. I really choose to believe it. Sometimes we are given so many prophetic words over the months and years, but we wonder why they all don’t seem to be manifesting.”

“It’s because you have to believe them for them to manifest. God has already said that He has a plan and a future for us. Your job and my job is to believe that PROMISE. It doesn’t always go smoothly as we can imagine, it doesn’t always feel good at that moment, but you need to believe the PROMISES and hold on to them! Unbelief is the reason why most prophetic words don’t reach their fullness!”

“Do you know what the Lord has spoken over your life? There’s a difference between KNOWING the word and BELIEVING it. Believing the word is activating your faith to agree with the Word of God and those words then manifest.”

“Imagine that the prophetic words are a seed. One day you plant that seed in your garden, but you end up leaving it there for weeks without watering it or checking up on it. One day you come back and see that the thorns and the weeds have grown over the seed and choked it out. The seed never grew to its fullness. It didn’t get to sprout into the fullness of its manifestation. Why is this?”

“It’s because you didn’t do your job of watering it, cultivating it or coming to pull the weeds out from around it. The same is true in our lives. The prophetic seeds sown are not growing to maturity because you are not watering them, and the seed dies prematurely. Some of the amazing plans and callings that God has for us, remain in seed-form for our entire life!”

“One of my testimonies of the leadership of this house (SNF) is that they saw potential in me that I never saw in myself. You know when I first came here, I was broken. I didn’t even believe in anything that the Lord had for me. I like to say that I came crawling back to God. I came back begging the Lord to take me back.”

“God reminded me that the only reason why I stand here before you today is because of the Grace of God. The person that you see here today, is not the same person from 3 years ago!”

Jeremiah 29:13 AMP– [Then with a deep longing you will seek me and require me as a vital necessity, and you will find me when you search for me with all your heart.]

“You need to have a deep longing for what the Lord has planned for your life. I asked the Lord, ‘Lord as you formed and knitted me in the womb of my mother, what did you put in me? Because in your Book all the plans and my purpose were all written.’ “

“Do you want to know what God wrote for you in His book?”

THE END OF THE RACE

2 Timothy 4: 6-7 – [ For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight; I have finished the race and kept the faith.]

“See when the Apostle Paul wrote this, he knew that he was done. He knew that everything that God had put in him has been poured out. Paul had worked out his purpose. He truly had been poured out like a drink offering – pouring out everything that God had put in him. Paul knew that his life was done and there was nothing left undone, he knew that he had served his purpose.”

“Do you want to die knowing that you fought the good fight and are ready to go home? When I was reading this scripture, I was thinking- ‘Man, what a joy it is to be fully used by God’.”

“Last year, Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke went home to be with the Lord. He was an evangelist who was called to serve in Africa. During his life on earth, he led millions and millions of people to the Lord through his ministry. I want to ask you, are you going to walk out your purpose here on Earth or are you just going to occupy space?”

“Because according to God’s Word, you were meant to come to the knowledge of Jesus and go to the ends of the Earth and preach the Gospel, heal the sick, raise the dead and cleanse the leapers. You were meant to be more than just saved!”

“There is potential in you that I don’t have, a potential that God didn’t put in me. He put something else in me and something else in you. So, you must walk out your purpose because if you don’t – that potential dies with you.”

“Whatever you do in secret don’t take it lightly, and if you want to find purpose be faithful, If you really want to find purpose – be faithful in your relationship with God! Excuses and procrastination are Purpose Killers! Don’t let anything hold you back from your God-given purpose!”

WATCH YOUR WORDS – PART I

Apostle Cruise Westerlund highlighted the need to carefully watch over what we say, during last Wednesday’s Spontaneous Night. He explained how the words we release out of our mouth either represent the God we serve- or misrepresent Him.

Scripture also tells us in Proverbs 18:21 that the tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Apostle said, “During our time of worship earlier this evening, the Lord revealed that a spiritual soap was cleaning our tongues.”

“When I returned home to Samoa today- there were many words I wanted to say. They were not cuss or swear words, but they were words to answer to someone who was questioning me. Right before I uttered out a word, the Holy Spirit reminded me that I should watch what I say.”

“I heard Holy Spirit say- ‘Watch if there is any pride in you, watch if there is any comparison that comes out of your mouth. When you come before My Presence, make sure that you have honored me everywhere else by how you represent Me; by the way you speak! ‘ . “

“In Biblical times, how did they control the oxen? They put a muzzle over its mouth. The same goes with our tongue – so we can closely watch what we say.”

Psalm 141: 3 – [Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.]

James 1: 26 – [If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.]

Proverbs 21: 23 – [Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity.]

“Sometimes we get so used to using ‘Christian lingo’ in a church setting only. People can come and quote scripture and quote Psalms – but be swearing out there in their daily life. Someone can be in here leading us into worship but be gossiping about their neighbor out there. Because that person lives a double life, what happens is that person can not host the Glory. Why? Because God can see right through your worship.”

“After the Lord spoke to me about this, I had to repent -because there were things that I said. When you serve God there is a high standard. So be careful what you watch, be careful of what you listen to. I pray that you serve God with a lot of conviction in this day and age.”

Psalm 119: 105 – [Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.]

“What causes a lot of friction within marriages and relationships? – What causes conflict and fights, swearing and cursing?”

“The tongue. The tongue is the major cause of divorce today. You don’t just see your wife and throw a punch at her- she said something that angered you. And it started from something you said that angered her. And suddenly you are in a fight just because someone decided not to humble themselves.”

“God is saying- ‘I’m not into who’s right and wrong, I’m waiting for someone to humble themselves’. Its always hard to follow Jesus because you must carry the Cross. If you watch your tongue, it will save you a lot of arguments, friction with others, and conflict. It’s not about who is politically or Biblically correct – that is not what it is all about.”

James 3: 7 -11 –[All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, 8 but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.
Can both fresh water and saltwater flow from the same spring? My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.]

“You see in our culture we can have a lot of respect for our Pastors, but sadly, we don’t have respect for our boss or even our spouse. We can say all the nice words to our Pastor, but we leave all the negative words for our spouse. This shouldn’t be! Because God is not just present in the church, He is also present in the home and workplace.”

“My question is- who was made in Gods image? The boss or the Pastor? Both men were created in God’s Image. So therefore, no one has the right to undermine any person, any race, any person, or any gender. The moment you disrespect them or undermine them, you are putting the image of God down.”

Mathew 12: 36 –[And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak.]

“Jesus said that on the Day of Judgement, you will give an account over every idle word that you have spoken. The problem is that the Christians are tuned into the frequency of the world all the time. You need to be at a place where when the frequency of earth is playing, you will not be affected by it because you are tuned into a higher frequency. The world cannot understand the dialogue that God speaks to you. I urge you to be a generation who understands the voice of God.”
