THE WILDERNESS SEASON
Director Peace Aiono shared a message on the spiritual wilderness seasons in life. Going through wilderness seasons is part of every Believer’s journey. And the Lord does use such seasons as a time of teaching us, growing us, and building us up. As we entered into worship, the weighty Presence of the Lord filled the atmosphere. God’s Presence was so tangible, with some weeping and others crying out to Him on their face. As the Lord continued to minister, He placed on our hearts a burden to intercede and uplift our nation of Samoa and our government before the throne room of Heaven. Brother Asuelu also had a burden to intercede and pray for the youth of Samoa and that the Lord would draw His people to Him! Glory to God! During her message, Director Peace shared, ” Spiritual dryness or a wilderness experience is God’s way to get us to exercise faith. Even when there is little feedback from God, in the wilderness we are not being punished but our faith is being strengthened and we are being tested. Different people have different experiences as they go through their wilderness experience, some choose to renounce the outside world and choose to stay in their own ‘cave’ – cutting themselves off from normal social interaction in daily life.Whatever our response is, this is the point in life where we are confronted with the tricks of the enemy and we question everything we ever learned and knew about God. I don’t know about you, but I have gone through a wilderness many times. It’s a place where you find yourself asking “How can a loving God allow this to happen to me? Have I been fooling myself serving God all this time? God, do you really exist? Why doesn’t He show up when I needed Him? In the wilderness experience, it feels like God seems to disappear. If anyone of us is currently going through this spiritual wilderness – we must understand that this is a place that we must travel in order to reach a greater intimacy with God. Your wilderness experience is a place where God hides you from the public view and prepares you for your purpose. You may feel like the darkness of the wilderness will never cease, but in time God will bring you out of the hiding place and into what He desires for you. Believers actually think God is angry with them when they are in the wilderness. That is a lie! Satan will do everything he can to get you to believe that God is disappointed with you. The love of God is the cornerstone of our faith and it’s in the wilderness that He shows up in a more profound way! What a better place to show that than when we are thirsty and dry!As our thirst increases, we cry out to God and start searching for Him and that is exactly what He wants us to do! [Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.]Jeremiah 29:13 AMP [As the deer pants [longingly] for the water brooks, So my soul pants [longingly] for You, O God. My soul (my life, my inner self) thirsts for God, for the living God. When will I come and see the face of God?]Psalms 42:1-2 AMP Even if we don’t know or see where we are going – God is right there. Two significant things that God does in this time is the realization the God loves us unconditionally. He loves us unconditionally and He is going to deliver us out of bondage and fear, God uses wilderness experiences to mold us into the person He predestined us to be. [For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers.]Romans 8:29 AMP Significant spiritual growth also takes place in us when we learn to trust unconditionally. The wilderness is the place where God builds our faith and our character – but that only happens when we realize that God really does love us.” To watch this complete message, check out the LIVE replay here : https://www.facebook.com/supernaturalfellowship/videos/425601185171215/

SECRET SIN OR SECRET PLACE?
the highlight for the night was a timely reminder to live our daily life from a place of God’s REST, surrendering our cares and burdens before Him, as well as living a lifestyle worthy of the calling (Ephesians 4:1), where we continually host and commune with Jesus in our secret place. As we entered into worship, an atmosphere of freedom broke out and the Lord ministered to each individual on a very personal basis. As the worship team continued to lead the congregants into the glory, the atmosphere shifted where tangible breakthrough could be felt. Marjourie Meredith shared a download she had received from the Lord, during worship. She said, “I had the word ‘FATIGUED’ before I came this evening. Have you ever worked so hard, yet felt like you’ve never slept a day in your life? Earlier as I made my way here, I saw doors. As God spoke to my heart, I asked Him, “What does being fatigued look like?”He said, “It looks like a closed door or gate.” Then I asked, “What does a closed door or gate look like?” And He said, “It’s forever seeing, but never tasting.” I know that there are some of us here tonight that you’ve been seeing a certain blessing or light over someone and you’ve been asking yourself, ‘what makes them different? why is that person bearing fruit and I’m not?’. What you’ll come to realise is that there is a big difference between success and fruitfulness. What God is saying is if you are feeling spiritually, physically, or mentally fatigued – I (Jesus) AM your REST. It all goes back to God waiting to open doors for you! It’s such a beautiful thing to live knowing that the God we serve operates outside the dimensions of space and time. The God we serve is not limited! I want you to have that faith knowing that the power to open doors and the power to open gates are available to you right now in this place of worship! While God is working in this moment – don’t miss it! Don’t miss what He has for you, for anybody! This is for anyone who is willing to receive and I believe that tonight there is a very specific anointing to break the yoke. That’s the anointing that’s going to open doors that have been closed for a long time! The Word of God says that whatever doors God opens, no one can shut! (Rev 3:8) It may look like a hopeless situation, but God is saying – when I have opened it – ITS OPENED!” Shivani Sharma also shared a word of encouragement, saying, “Maybe ‘life has happened’ and you are left weary, tired and constantly seeking rest, seeking something that will refresh you. Maybe you’ve been going home after work to watch TV or scroll on Facebook, but nothing you can do ever gives you that peace in your soul that you have been looking for.I want to encourage you tonight that Jesus is the answer to what you are seeking. Tonight I believe that He wants to take those burdens and take those things off your shoulders, the things that have been weighing you down. It may be your family, commitments, work or maybe it’s even something the Lord has promised you and you know that you have been waiting and trusting, but you just haven’t seen it come to pass. I pray that tonight you would give those burdens to Jesus!Sometimes the answer you are looking for is ready to be released, but the Lord is waiting on you to surrender to Him first. Whatever it is that has been bothering you, I pray that you would release it and allow God to come and refresh you!” [ Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”] -Mathew 11:28-30 NKJV During the program, we tuned into an online message titled ‘Secret Place’ by Pastor Vlad Savchuk of Hungry Generation. Pastor Vlad shared how the hidden things we do in secret will always come to light in public. Whether it be spending time with God and cultivating our relationship with Him in secret or whether we be harboring sin in secret. [For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light.] – Mark 4:22 NKJV He said, “Whatever you are hiding today will change your life tomorrow. If you are hiding in the Presence of God, if you are hiding the Holy Spirit in your secret place – your life will change, your relationships, career, walk with God will change. At the same time, if there is something that you are deleting from your browser history, conversations, or things like that – it’s one of the first signs that you might be living with secret sin. I believe each of us lives in a secret place or secret sin.” Comparing the life-altering ‘secret’ choices of Rahab the prostitute (Joshua chapter 2) and Achan son of Karmi (Joshua chapter 7), Pastor Vlad explained how what we do in secret will not only affect ourselves, but our families and people connected to us. “Rahab hid the Israelite spies. Achan hid accursed things under his tent. One hid spies, the other hid clothes. One was saved, the other was destroyed. Rahab’s family was spared, Achan’s family was stoned. There are two types of people today, the Rahab’s and the Achan’s. Rahab’s may not have everything looking good on the outside, but privately they have chosen something that will change the course of their life publicly. The Achan’s may know how to speak, dress, or appear right – but quietly they are hiding things under their tent. A private compromise will become a public scandal. Everything that is hidden will one day be revealed. So what are you hiding today? In your secret life, your secret place has to be where you are hosting God. Not hiding sin. The best way not to hide sin is to host the Spirit. I’m not encouraging you tonight to get rid of that sin in your life, BUT to REPLACE the sin by hosting the Spirit of God.” Check out the LIVE replay of the Wednesday program here: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=862269457889311&id=364077920465512 You can watch Pastor Vlad’s message here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_r8Z3omvpmE&feature=share

SITTING AT THE FEET OF JESUS
At times we can get so occupied serving and working in our daily lives that we can neglect spending precious time with Jesus. Intimacy with the Father program was themed around ‘sitting at the feet of Jesus’ and ensuring that our priority was in cultivating daily an intimate personal relationship with the Lord. Encouraging us to prepare our hearts for worship, Marjourie Meredith said, ” Worship tonight is going to look very different to what we are used to. But I believe it’s a glimpse at what we will experience this year!””Be attentive, listen carefully and intentionally. You have a destination tonight. You are meant to be seated in Heavenly places and worship can take us there!” Ephesians 2: 6 AMP – [And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus,] “God knows when your heart is troubled. Tonight there is nothing worth more than sitting at the feet of our Lord. Whatever you receive from the throne room of grace, I believe will last you for 2021.” As we lifted our voices in worship, the Lord ministered to each person individually. Some wept, some bowed in reverence and others lifted their voices with the sound of a new song on their lips. The atmosphere was filled with peace and the presence of God. Luke 10:38-42 AMP – [Now while they were on their way, Jesus entered a village [called Bethany], and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. She had a sister named Mary, who seated herself at the Lord’s feet and was continually listening to His teaching. But Martha was very busy and distracted with all of her serving responsibilities; and she approached Him and said, “Lord, is it of no concern to You that my sister has left me to do the serving alone? Tell her to help me and do her part.”But the Lord replied to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered and anxious about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part [that which is to her advantage], which will not be taken away from her.”] Sharing the significance of the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10, Peace Aiono said, ” It was Martha that invited Jesus to the home. But Martha got very distracted serving. What she was doing was an important thing but it wasn’t her priority. Her sister Mary chose to sit and hear the words of Jesus.” “Some of the things we can learn from this story is most importantly love and devotion. We need to prioritize sitting at the feet of Jesus because it allows us to refocus and recalibrate our system to God and what is on His heart for us.” “It also ensures that we don’t allow our feelings or emotions to get the best of us. We can tend to look at what the other person is or isn’t doing and we end up getting to the point where we become so focused on serving and neglect sitting at the feet of Jesus.” “Some things are important, but they are not your ultimate priority. Sitting at His feet teaches us DEPENDENCE – for us to be dependent on God for strength as He is our ever-present help. Martha was busy serving not realizing that her ever-present help was right there!” “For us to know Jesus more, to really understand who He is, His character, and His attitude toward things – we need to intentionally spend more time with Him.” “Mary sat to hear the words of Jesus. Another aspect is that maybe we do spend time sitting but not LISTENING. We may worship and pray, but are we listening to what He’s saying? “
